Cancellation Policy

DJ Service Terms & Conditions Maestro Media Services (DJ ELAYA) 1. Booking & Payment A non-refundable deposit (percentage or fixed amount) is required to reserve the event date. Remaining balance must be paid before or on the event day prior to the start of the performance. Booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received. Payments accepted: Zelle, Cash, Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card (processing fees may apply). 2. Cancellation & Refund Policy Deposits are non-refundable. If the client cancels within 7 days of the event, the full quoted amount is still due because the date is exclusively reserved. If Maestro Media Services must cancel due to an emergency, a full refund will be issued for any payment received. 3. Event Details & Schedule Client must provide accurate event details including venue address, timing, agenda, audience type, and special requests. Any changes to timing or venue must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Additional hours beyond agreed schedule will incur overtime charges. 4. Setup Requirements DJ requires 60–90 minutes for setup and sound check depending on the package. Client must ensure: A dedicated 15A or 20A power supply (two separate circuits may be required for large setups) Safe, stable, and dry space for equipment Early venue access for setup Weather protection for outdoor events (tent/canopy required) 5. Equipment Safety & Damages Client is responsible for ensuring the safety of DJ equipment once setup is completed. Any damage caused by guests, children, or third parties will be charged to the client at full replacement cost. Food, drinks, and liquids must be kept away from the DJ booth, speakers, and lighting. 6. Music & Performance Requests DJ will coordinate with the client on preferred genres, playlists, special songs, and cultural music requirements. Last-minute requests will be accommodated when possible. DJ maintains professional discretion to ensure smooth flow of the event. 7. Venue Rules & Compliance Client must confirm the venue permits amplified music, lighting equipment, and effects such as fog/haze machines (if booked). If fog/haze machines are not allowed due to fire alarms or venue policy, client must inform the DJ in advance. Client is responsible for any venue or city permits if required. 8.
